GOOD, BAD, UGLY
RULE OF THIRDS
The points of interests in my images were; people, lockers, or abstract objects. I chose to place these subjects mainly either to the bottom left or right. In this photo I put the grid in so the viewer can see how the rule of three works. As you can see I placed my subject on the left vertical line. This creates a more interesting image then it would be in the centre.

Guy Tal
Guy Tal creates surreal images. He does this by going to very abstract places and taking photos. These photos are very interesting as it makes the viewer have to think what the photo is a coulee be.
Paul Graham
Paul graham uses his photography to specialise his photos on people. these photos are of diverse types of people but seems to look like quite poor.
Andreas Gursky
Andreas Gursky takes photos of the colours collected through the use of sweet/chocolates and other foods in corner shops
formal elements
Collin Winterbottom
He was born in Washington, America and spent most of his life there where he earned an undergraduate degree in economics and master of arts in philosophy and social policy. Winterbottom's most recent projects builds on years of working from preservation sites, and especially from scaffolding erected facilaitate stone repairs. At the core of Winterbottom's photographs is an interest in vivid texture and composition driven by dynamic tension between subjects in the frame. He has been awarded several fellowship grants from the District of Colombia Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the National Endowment for the Art's, a juniors choice award from the National Geographic photo editor David Griffin, and an award from Black and White magazine.

Abstract close up
Excellent compositions! Your photos are sharp and focused and really give the viewer the sense of texture. Keep shooting more!
Best photos
Describe the strengths of these photos.
The strength of the first photo is it is not very clear what it is making the viewer have a wider perspective. I also like how some water droplets have caught the sunlight making them stand out. The strength of the second image is how the colours stand out. Also the uniformity of the bricks in contrast to the black splatted paint create a form of movement. Furthermore the colour blue is is repeated through out the image.
THREE THEME IDEAS
ABSTRACT VIEW
LINES
In this theme of 'Lines' I will be shooting around near where I live (muswell hill). I will be shooting during the day time and outside to get good and natural lighting.
These photos will be taken on my camera.

CLOSE UP AND FAR AWAY VIEW
LINES
Wonderful compositions with lines! I love these photos, also using the shadows of the subject that create more lines. Please do your photoshoots for Contrast and Abstract View ASAP.
These photos are taken in Ally Pally. What could have been better if I took more close up photos of what I took long shot photos of. I did this later in my other themes.
CONTAST
These contrast images were taken around school. I like how I show the close up AND the far away shot after. What could be better if I edited some of these images so they are all black and white and show the contrast more clearly. I could also go further in my shots e.g. go into central London etc.
ABSTRACT VIEW
Final Piece
This is my final piece. I have based these images on my favourite theme LINES. The image on the right is a close up photo of my far away shot on the left. In order to separate these images I chose a colour divider linking to the colours in my images.
